AN interesting look at the lives of the Brontë sisters is heading for Pershore.
The LipService theatre company is celebrating 21 years of sublime silliness by reviving their Brontë spoof, Withering Looks.
On Friday, May 18, the show - which picked up the Critics' Award for comedy at the Edinburgh Festival - arrives at the Number 8 Community Arts Centre in Pershore.
The comedy is a sneak-peak behind the scenes of Haworth Parsonage, the home shared by the three Brontë sisters.
There are only two in this show - apparently Anne's just popped out for a cup of sugar - but to compensate, there are more ravaged heaths, tormented souls, mysterious neighbours, and maniacal laughter from the attic.
Early booking is recommended and tickets, priced £13, are available from the box office on 01386 555488.
