A LIBRARY in Worcester is holding a series of events to celebrate two decades in its current home.
Twenty years ago, St John's Library moved from a mobile building on what is now the church car park to its premises in the old St John's Primary School, which closed in 1984. To mark the occasion, staff have organised a two-week festival including these events:
* Friday, April 20 - An evening with M C Beaton - the author of the Hamish Macbeth and Agatha Raisin mysteries.
* Monday, April 23 - The Bones of History - a talk by forensic osteologist Dr Christina Lythe.
* Friday, April 27 - An evening with crime novelist Christopher Fowler.
To book a place call the library on 01905 420400.
