KEEN ramblers are being invited to make the most of Worcester and its parks and open spaces.
The Warndon Woodland Walk is designed to help people discover more about one of the city's hidden gems. Organised by Worcester City Council's Wildlife Ranger Team, the walk on Friday, April 27, will take place between 2-3pm.
Warwick Neale, parks green network officer, said: "The walks combine a great opportunity for gentle exercise with discovering more about the wonderful natural environment which is on our doorstep.
"The walk itself is about two miles. We won't be going too fast and there are a couple of stiles to climb over with some steps, but we want to ensure we take in the surroundings and enjoy the bluebells at this time of year, so there will be opportunity to rest. I'm sure it will be a very pleasant afternoon."
No special equipment is needed and everyone is welcome on the walk. Booking is essential and a place can be reserved by calling the Worcester City Council's customer service centre on 01905 722 233.
