OLDBURY Park Tigers Gold Under 12s continued their unbeaten record to stay top of the Mercian Festival Junior League.
They are three points ahead of Malvern Town Wanderers Juniors but their big rivals have a game in hand and better goal difference.
Tigers record a comfortable if not entirely convincing 5-0 midweek win over Ombersley Vics.
The Worcester side took the lead on four minutes when James Day hit a cracking shot from the edge of the area.
Just three minutes later, Tom Baker crossed from the left and Day bagged his second with a crisp volley inside the box.
Oldbury had further chances early on and Day could have had four but for poor finishing and good goalkeeping.
Vics got back into the game and were only denied by the post and a fine Ross Williams save.
Williams denied them again in the second period and was aided by man-of-the-match Steven Gourley who read the game well to make vital interceptions.
Tigers missed several chances before Baker made it three from a good Jordan Murton through-ball.
Max Price scored from six yards after a good right-wing move involving Charlie Wosley and Ryan Gwilliam.
A fantastic Price run ended with a shot just wide before Murton completed the scoring after the 'keeper's clearance found him 40 yards out.
Worcester Raiders drew 3-3 at much-improved basement boys Leigh and Bransford Badgers.
Both teams played good football and were eager to break the deadlock.
But the Badgers 'keeper was in inspirational form throughout, making first-class saves. Midway through the first-half, Raiders winger Luke Trainer found the net with a superb volley from an acute angle after good build-up play from Aaron Davis, Aaron Roberts and Joe Fowles.
Soon after, Badgers equalised from a mix-up but Raiders went back ahead through Jon Lee who netted Trainer's cross from close range.
Badgers levelled again when piling pressure on full-back Alex Parkers who looped an attempted clearance into his own net.
Raiders again regained the initiative with Trainer's 30-yard free-kick into the top corner.
But Badgers kept plugging away and levelled with 10 minutes left after more mistakes from the visitors.
Centre-half Tom Haigh was Raiders' man-of-the-match after making vital interceptions and clearances in a thrilling match.
