THE University of Worcester welcomed sports tutors from across the globe to pass on their knowledge to students.
The university's School of Sport and Exercise Science hosted International Sports Week, opening its doors to 34 visiting international participants.
They included lecturers from the US, Australia, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Lithuania and Holland.
At the event, lecturers gave a range of talks in sport and physical education, passing on their knowledge to more than 900 students.
Subjects included coaching visually-impaired football players, tackling heat related illness, sports nutrition, and investigating problems linked with eating disorders.
Senior lecturer and school international co-ordinator Karen van Berlo, said the week had an "extremely positive impact" on the students' experience and professional development of staff.
"This week has a number of important aims, including stretching the boundaries of teaching and research, and helping to strengthen our student and staff exchange opportunities," she said.
