JO Wood, president, welcomed the members. All our past records were on show prior to them going to be stored in the County Record Office. The cake stall that we had at the village hall fete raised a useful sum for the institute.
Jean Luty gave us a comprehensive report of the annual meeting that she had attended as our delegate.
The skittles team has lost one match and drawn the game with Leigh and Bransford WI.
For social time the committee members gave a presentation of our institute from its inception in 1921 through to the present day, illustrating the words with appropriate music and hats from each decade.
On April 26, Reg Moule, the BBC Hereford & Worcester gardening expert, will be at the village hall at 7.30 pm. The cost is £5 for a ticket. Everyone is most welcome to this evening.
