A Worcester charity is looking for a volunteer who either has or would like to cultivate green fingers.
The Tudor House heritage centre in Worcester's historic Friar Street is keen to find someone to can spare about half an hour each week for an unusual gardening project.
The museum and history centre has a display of herbs used in Tudor times for cooking and healing and is looking for someone to tend to them.
Tudor House manager Helen Wallis said it requires someone, with or without gardening experience, to cut down, replenish and generally tend to the plants.
She said: "It is something that could be picked up quite easily.
"We have another volunteer who is doing some work on apothecaries and may do some workshops. It would be nice for her to show the growing plants."
Mrs Wallis said if a volunteer is found to handle the herbs for the displays, Tudor House may get in more plants and hold a sale during the summer.
Tudor House is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Anyone interested in volunteering should call in on those days or phone Helen Wallis on 01905 759344 on other days of the week.
