WORCESTER News readers are being invited to enter a poetry competition which could entail their work being published.
The National Poetry Anthology, the biggest free-to-enter poetry competition in Britain, is looking for the best poet in Worcester.
Winners from every town in the country will get a free copy of a book, which will include their winning entry. The overall winner, which will be picked from all the winners in each town and city across the country, will get £1,000.
Organiser Peter Quinn said: "The National Poetry Anthology is designed to encourage new writers."
To enter, send three poems on any subject to United Press Ltd, Admail 3735, London EC1B 1JB by the end of June.
Each poem should be no longer than 160 words in length.
