AN author has been giving his tips of the trade to budding young writers.
Dean Carter visited Christopher Whitehead Lan-guage College to tell pupils all about his books The Hand Of The Devil, and the recently published sequel, Hunting Season.
Mr Carter, who is originally from Tenbury Wells and worked as a bookseller in Worcester before pursuing his writing career and moving to London, said he was delighted at how interested the youngsters were. "I told the pupils about how I got into writing and how I got myself published. I also talked a little about my two books, in particular the second one," he said. "I was impressed at how attentive and interested the pupils were. I could sense that some of them were genuinely interested in writing and was glad that I could offer them encouragement and hopefully show how possible it is to make your dream come true."
