COUNTY Hall is to salute committed composters who have helped reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill.
The waste management team has organised a first anniversary celebration event for those who took part in the master composter programme.
The programme involves volunteers from Worcestershire giving up their spare time to promote home composting.
There are now 43 volunteers who visit schools, homes, and write articles for newsletters and magazines.
Viktoria Salisbury, project development officer for composting, said: "The master composters are incredibly enthusiastic and they all believe strongly in the cause."
The celebration event is being held on Wednesday, April 18, at Malvern Council House. For more details go to the website to www.waste missionimpossible.org.uk.
