WORCESTER students looking for career advice could benefit from a project being organised by a national homebuilder.
Persimmon Homes has launched the first in a series of careers posters which have been distributed to more than 4,000 careers offices and secondary schools in the UK.
The project - called It's not all hard hats and house bricks - highlights the wide range of job opportunities available in the construction industry.
Persimmon Homes South Midlands' construction director Martin Howard said: "If the construction sector is to grow and flourish, it's vital we do all we can to attract new blood, however, with such an immense range of job opportunities to choose from, it may be difficult to know where to start.
"This is where our poster will undoubtedly help and construction jobs that that may not currently be front of mind for many youngsters will be thrown into the career spotlight thanks to this new career push."
The latest poster campaign is part of a number of schemes introduced over the past seven years under the heading Homing in on Opportunity, which is aimed at 14 to 16-year-olds.
The campaigns have included a careers manual, real-life case studies and a series of national curriculum based tasks.
