HUNDREDS of shoppers in Droitwich took a step back in time thanks to an array of vintage and classic cars.
More than 130 motors lined the streets on Saturday, providing a fascinating distraction from the hustle and bustle of the weekend shopping.
The High Street and St Andrew's Street were closed for six hours for the Droitwich Spa Classic and Vintage Car Rally .
Cars from the 1920s to 1950s parked in the High Street. Later models were in St Andrew's Street.
Councillor Graham Gopsill, who helped organise the event, said: "The day was fantastic, and the streets were packed with people.
"We had some beautiful cars on display, and with the weather being as good as it was people turned out in good numbers."
"The High Street was lined with some of the most delightful cars you've ever seen; from the 1920s through to the 1950s."
The rally was sponsored by Kandahar, with support from Excel, Wychavon District Council and Droitwich Spa Town Council.
Droitwich Canal Trust organised boat rides on the canal by Vines Park throughout the day as well.
