THIEVES have taken three satellite navigation systems in a series of raids on cars in Worcestershire.
The satellite navigation systems, a lap-top computer and CDs were stolen in three separate car break-ins in Evesham.
A £350 Sat Nav 700 and a £1,500 Packard Bell lap-top computer were stolen from a silver Vauxhall Vectra, at a Woodlands address between 10pm on April 9 and 8.10am the next day.
A £200 Tom-Tom system and 10 CDs valued at £100 were taken from a Vauxhall Astra, again in Woodlands, between 10pm on Monday, April 9, and 6am the next day.
A £300 Tom-Tom was taken from a red Nissan Terrano in Owletts End between 6.30pm on Sunday, April 8, and 10.15am the next day.
The spate of thefts has prompted south Worcestershire police to renew its appeal to motorists to stop them leaving expensive electronic equipment - in particular sat-navs - in empty vehicles, even if the equipment is not on show.
If you have any information about the thefts please call West Mercia police on 08457 444 888 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
