WE meet every Tuesday for lunch at St Andrew's House Hotel, Droitwich, at 12.30pm.
On March 6, our own member Mike Crossley, who is an excellent mimic, spoke to us and asked us to recognise the accents in which he delivered the message.
There were 14 of them, including Australian, north and southern Ireland and Derbyshire.
Sandy Laird was the winner, he identified 12 out of 14. A good time was had by all.
On March 13, the speaker was our treasurer Laurie Evans, who gave us an interesting and amusing account of his early life.
On March 20, we held our monthly business meeting.
