THESE injured animals are in need of loving new homes.
Cats Fudge and Sesame have each lost a leg, while Skeeter is blind in one eye and Bryn the dog has an elbow dysplasia.
Their specific injuries mean that re-homing them has proved difficult but staff at Danemere Animal Rescue are hoping that, after reading of their plight, Worcester News readers will step forward.
Bryn the Rottweiler arrived at the rescue centre in Tibberton last November. The malformation of his elbows will be with him for the rest of his life and mean he will need medical attention in future.
Dave Lannie, kennel supervisor, said: "He's super dog, very friendly and good with other dogs but being the breed he is and having this condition means that unfortunately most people just walk straight past him."
Tomcats Fudge and Sesame became the best of friends as soon as they arrived at Danemere less than a month ago and now need to be re-homed together.
"They just struck up such a bond," said Mr Lannie. "Everywhere the one goes the other follows. Maybe it's something to do with only having three legs." They are both timid and suited to a quiet home.
Skeeter, is a five-year-old house cat. Blind in one eye and going blind in the other, he needs an owner who can look out for him.
