ELECTORS in Wychavon are being reminded not to forget about postal votes for the May local elections.
Wychavon District Council has set a deadline of Wednesday, April 18, for postal applications and Wednesday, April 25, for proxy votes.
Amanda De Warr, who is organising Wychavon elections, said: "Anyone can apply for a postal vote - they are a very convenient way to vote.
"We're despatching the postal voting packs to voters between the April 20 and 27. If you are due to go away around these dates, a proxy vote might be appropriate as we cannot guarantee when you will receive your postal vote. A proxy allows you to nominate someone else on your behalf."
