VISITORS to Worcester's Tudor House may have found themselves in a spot of bother with a World War Two Air raid warden.
The officious character was demanding to see people's gas masks and identity cards as part of a 1940s historical re-enactment this Easter weekend.
The Discover History group had turned back time to when the Friar Street museum was Air Raid Post 239 and manned by wardens responsible for the safety of people living nearby.
Willing youngsters tried out a stirrup pump used for putting out fires caused by incendiary bombs and learnt about the warden's training.
Re-enactor Paul Harding said it had proved a popular event with both adults and children.
