A GOLF professional will be at a Worcester golf club on Good Friday to help raise money for a young girl who needs specialist treatment abroad.
Professional Golf Association member Mark Woodward will attend a special golf day at Perdiswell Sports Centre in Bilford Road, Worcester, to help boost the Georgia May Bristow Fund.
The club hopes to raise £600 to go towards the £10,000 needed to help five-year-old Georgia, who is suffering from hydrocephalus - fluid on the brain.
Georgia, of Fallow Field, Warndon Villages, Worcester, was born at 26 weeks and was placed in a special care baby unit in Birming-ham. At 14 days old she contracted meningitis. She has had 28 operations that have caused her to suffer a brain haemorrhage and a stroke, resulting in epilepsy, speech and balance problems.
