PARISH councillors have approved the appointment of a new assistant clerk.
Members of St Peter's Parish Council agreed the terms for the post at a meeting on Monday evening (April 27).
The new assistant clerk, who will tasked with “providing a timely, appropriate and effective response or resolution to all reasonable requests and problems presented” by members of the public, will be in post by late May or early June.
