A great wall has been built by pupils learning about China at a Worcester primary school. A hundred and twenty children from Perry Wood Primary each took a turn at constructing their own version of the landmark. Two parents, Andrew Portman and Dave Steadman - pictured with pupils Sian Kite, Ryan O'Neill and Paige Wise - showed pupils in reception year how to lay the bricks, with materials donated by city firm Bradfords. Student teacher Sian O'Neill said: "This was an excellent chance to involve parents in children's learning." Picture: Simon Rogers. 09161802
