THERE have been a series of sightings of a straw-coloured pedigree dog roaming the streets of Worcester.
Yesterday, we reported how Buster, a seven-year-old chihuahua, had been missing since he ran away from his home in Tolladine, Worcester, on Friday.
But Worcester News readers rang in to say they had seen the dog wandering around Woodgreen Drive and Newtown Road, near the hospital, at about 2.30pm yesterday.
One reader, who did not wish to be named, said the dog held up traffic in the area and Carol Beamond, of Hazel Close, Tolladine, said she saw the dog at about 3pm near the hospital.
"He was moving down towards Newtown Road," she said. "It was running along the road along the pavement. It looked a bit wet and didn't know where it was."
As the Worcester News went to press, the city council's dog warden was still searching for the dog, which has been microchipped, using the information from our readers. The dog's owner was unavailable for comment.
Anyone who has any more information should call the dog warden on 07973 936990, or our newsdesk on 01905 742244.
