SUPPORTERS of Acorns Children's Hospice have the chance to dress in glowing colours to celebrate Chinese New Year.
Carol Chambers, manager of the Acorns shop in Pershore, slipped into one of the beautiful bargain outfits from the Orient that the shop is selling, to celebrate the start of the Year of the Pig.
Legend has it that those born in the Year of the Pig show concern for welfare, children and comfort. They love good things in life, and are usually lucky at obtaining them.
Carol said: "We are selling items from a beautifully-embroidered collection of oriental costumes, and people who want to join in the spirit of this colourful celebration can dress in style at very reasonable budget prices.
"We have a small number of jackets and dresses and children's outfits at prices that anyone can stretch to."
Anyone wanting more details can call Carol at the High Street shop on 01386 555561.
