VISITORS can find out about improvements being made to a historic park in Worcestershire by going on a walk at the weekend.
On Sunday, a special restoration walk around Croome Park is being organised to show what has happened during the winter months and what is being planned for the 18th-Century landscaped park near Pershore in the coming months.
There are plans to reinstate the park seat, install iron railings, restore a statue and even open a new visitor centre in the Second World War RAF buildings.
Property manager Michael Smith said: "Sunday's guided walk is a great opportunity to find out not only how we care for and maintain the park all year round, but also about our plans for the second phase of Croome's restoration.
"This is a hugely exciting project and we are looking forward to welcoming visitors to our new facilities later in the year."
Tickets for the three-mile walk, which starts at 10.30am, cost £6.50 adults and £3 children. For more information contact 01905 371006 or visit www.nationaltrust.org.uk
