DRAGONS were the focus of efforts by Year 3 pupils at Warndon Primary School.
Youngsters at the Edgeworth Close, Worcester, school took part in a project to create a dragon out of junk, inspired by the recent Chinese New Year celebrations marking the start of the year of the golden pig.
Linda Morgan, from the school, said: "It's something that over the past couple of years has involved a big parent project.
"They give over almost a full day to do it and we have a lot of parent helpers who get involved with their children to create these works of art."
She said last year's efforts had gone on display at Worcester Cathedral's Voices And Visions exhibition and the project showed a big link with parents that they were keen to build on.
