A TALENTED Worcester writer is celebrating after the release of his new book.
Geoff Cumbley signed copies of his first book Tarnished Heroes at Worcester library.
Set in the 1930s, it tells tales from African deserts and Europe during the Second World War. The story starts and ends in the area around St Paul's Street, where he lives with his wife Patricia. The couple have two children and two grandchildren.
Mr Cumbley, aged 67, is hoping to be able to do some talks about the book and is donating a percentage sales to Breath Easy, the Worcester support network for the British Lung Foundation. Tarnished Heroes is published in paperback, ISBN 9-781905-621019. It is available from online bookstores or by e-mailing Mr Cumbley on geoff.cumbley@tesco.net or ringing him on 01905 22734.
