THIEVES managed to trap a bull mastiff in a kitchen before stealing scrap metal electric motors which had just been recovered following a previous burglary.
The padlock was removed from an iron gate leading to the courtyard of a business in Broach Road, Sandy Lane Industrial Estate, Stourport-on-Severn between 7pm on Sunday and 7am on Monday.
The thieves entered the unit through a side door and secured the bull mastiff guard dog inside the kitchen before stealing a quantity of scrap metal electric motors.
The owner had just recovered a number of the motors following a recent burglary.
They left the building through the front roller shutter door.
