A CAR was completely destroyed by fire in Stourport this morning.

Firefighters were called to Kingsway at just before 5.15am where a Ford-model car was reported to be well alight.

They used a hose reel to extinguish the flames but the car had been completely destroyed.

Firefighters have requested that police attend.

Fire Crews were also called to Hartlebury Road in Stourport at just after 11pm on Monday evening.

A motorcycle which was leaking petrol was made safe by fire service personnel.
