A readathon at a Worcester school has raised more than £1,400.
Students from Nunnery Wood High School were sponsored to read books at school and at home.
The £1,405.86 raised will go to CLIC Sargent, a cancer charity for children, young people and their families.
The school's English department singled out a number of students who made a particular effort for a thank you.
They were Alex Byng, Robert Sands, Charlotte Warson, Emily Maiden, Milly Rawlins, Luke Hutchings, Joe Foster, Ellie Jamieson, Sian Kite and Jane Dann.
