THE popular Worcester Flea market is expanding to Malvern town centre.
The vintage and handmade market has been held on the first Sunday of the month at CrownGate Outdoor Market for per two years.
The next event will take this Sunday (April 6) from 10.30am.
But there are now two additional dates taking place on Abbey Road in Malvern on Saturday, April 12, and Saturday, June 7, from 10am to 4pm, with a view to this becoming a more regular fixture.
"Malvern Hills District Council are pleased to have the Worcester Flea coming to Malvern, and hope it will become a regular event in the future." Said the Council’s Economic Development Officer Malcolm Salisbury.
Jo Bourke, who organises the market, added: "We're looking forward to bringing the market to Malvern. It's great to have additional dates and locations to offer traders and I think it will go down really well with visitors and residents of Malvern."
The market attracts a variety of traders selling vintage, antiques, upcycled and handmade items, and interest in the market has been growing steadily since it first began in 2011.
