BRAZEN thieves stole tools worth £5,000 and caused damage to the roof of a workshop at the Worcester Countryside Centre.
They forced their way into the workshop by removing tiles from the roof at the centre in Wildwood Drive, Worcester, some time between 5pm on Sunday and 8am on Monday.
Four Husqvarna chain saws, one Stihl hedge trimmer, one Stihl leaf blower and two Stihl strimmers worth £5,000 were stolen.
Police are investigating the incident and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
PC Gemma Pawlik, of West Mercia Police, said: "We want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and heard or saw anything suspicious.
"We have the serial model numbers for all the items stolen and would also like to speak to anyone who has been offered any power tools for sale in suspicious circumstances."
