A WORCESTER charity for the blind and partially sighted has received thousands of pounds after a month long will-writing promotion at Worcester's largest law firm.
Harrison Clark Rickerbys Solicitors donated £3,500 to Sight Concern Worcestershire after offering people the chance to write a simple will for a discounted price throughout the whole of February.
Lisette MacDonald, solicitor for Harrison Clark Rickerbys, said: "Sight Concern provides a really vital service for the blind and partially sighted across the whole of the county and we wanted to be support them in their efforts."
Jenny Gage, chief officer for Sight Concern, added: "I would like to thank Harrison Clark Rickerbys for their wonderful support and for raising such a fantastic sum of money. With this funding we will be able to reach out to more local people who are affected by sight loss."
The charity and the law firm are planning to repeat the promotion in 2015 and hope this is the start of a fruitful long term partnership.
