A LEDBURY-BASED police officer has been charged with two counts of misconduct in a public office.
West Mercia Police constable Ian Langford was arrested on Wednesday, September 25 last year and was today (Tuesday, April 1) charged with the two offences and suspended from duty.
The 46-year-old has been released on bail and will appear at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Friday, April 25.
The arrest came as part of an inquiry by West Mercia Police's professional standards department.
