THIRTY years of musical success will be celebrated during a special performance.
Staff and students from the Elgar School of Music will take to the stage in the John Moore Theatre at King’s Worcester for a production of Let’s Face the Music and Dance on Saturday, April 12.
The musical revue show features the work of Noel Coward, the Gershwin Brothers, Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and many more stars from the 1930s.
Ben Humphrey, the school's new chief executive and head of school, said: “One of the unique things about the Elgar School of Music is the incredible staff that we have, who are not only brilliant musicians but they passionately believe in musical education for all ages and abilities.
"This show presents a small cross section of what the school does but it absolutely captures the spirit of the Elgar School of Music. Music for all in the heart of Worcester.”
The show is directed by Stephen Watkins and Britt Packer, who are both well known to Worcester’s audiences for their performance work throughout the county.
The show starts at 7.30pm.
