A MAN was left with a fractured skull after being attacked on the street.
The 21-year-old victim was assaulted outside the Palace Theatre, Grove Street, Redditch, at about 2.30am on Sunday, March 23 when he and a friend were confronted by two other men who accused them of talking to their girlfriends.
The victim was then punched in the face by one of the men, fell to the ground and was unconscious for several minutes.
His attacker made off in the direction of Ipsley Street and the Warwick Arms, as did the other man who was with him.
The man who was assaulted was treated in hospital after it was found he had a fractured skull.
Police are asking for help to trace the offender who is black, around five feet eight inches in height and stocky with short, dark hair.
He was wearing a light purple, V-neck T-shirt shirt with a water effect pattern on it and jeans. It is believed he was with a group of people before the assault took place.
