MUMS enjoyed a special treat to celebrate mother's day at a Worcester school yesterday.
Reception children at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Primary School invited their mums and grandmas into their school for the afternoon for a tea party.
The children made and sent home an invitation and spent the week learning songs to sing.
Jolanda Simmonds, deputy headteacher, said: "They all made a special mothering Sunday card.
"They all made a bunch of flowers to give to their mum.
"Each child has also made and decorated a fairy cake to give to their mum.
"The children also made a small heart with a message about how wonderful their mum is and read this to them."
