HOLI, the Hindu festival of colour, was celebrated at an art school.
Students from the Malvern School of Art created traditional rangoli patterns with coloured powders, throwing them in the air and over each other to create multi-coloured clouds.
The celebrations were part of the research into colour which the Access to Art students are exploring in their current project work.
Caroline Park, head of art, said: "Students found it exhilarating, and have masses of material for their project.
"The photographs will be really useful and even the patterns created on the clothes and grass may prove to be inspirational."
The Malvern School of Art is part of South Worcestershire College.
The Holi festival is an ancient Spring festival which takes place in late February or early March.
