Driver taken to hospital after Malvern rush-hour crash
A DRIVER has been rushed to hospital after a collision involving a car and a van in Malvern this morning.
The collision happened at Madresfield Road near its junction with Pickersleigh Road, at about 8.45am.
The roads were closed while emergency services dealt with the scene.
The crash involved a red Renault Clio and a white Ford Transit, and fire fighters had to free the car driver from the wreckage.
The driver was subsequently taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with suspected serious injuries.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw the incident. Witnesses can call the non-emergency number 101, citing incident number 90s/250314.
