A CHARITY is looking for sponsors of its annual event to raise money to keep its life-changing work possible.
Megan Baker House charity, which provides free conductive education to around 100 children every year with cerebral palsy and other motor disabilities and for adults with early onset Parkinson’s disease in Hereford and Worcester, will hold its annual extravaganza on June 13.
The black tie ball at The Bank House Hotel, in Bransford, provides serious funding towards the running of the charity each year, which is about half-a-million pounds, but also gives local businesses the chance to get involved by sponsoring parts of the night.
Chief executive Lee Gough said the ball was one of the key events of the year for the charity and its success helped hugely towards its on-going success.
“It never ceases to amaze me how many good people and companies keep coming forward to help us each year and I am extremely grateful to all our supporters."
The sponsorship opportunities available are for the event itself, to sponsor the band for the night, to sponsor each course of the dinner or the wine, or the reception. The charity is also looking for prizes for the raffle which takes place on the night.
Tickets are available at £50 per person arranged in tables of 10.
