MEMBERS of a Worcester social club got a taste of the red carpet treatment when the curtain was lifted on a film they star in.
Regulars at the Monday Night Club, a club for adults with learning disabilities and autism, travelled to London for the premiere.
Called the Monday Night Club Has Got Talent, the film focuses on people’s ability, showing Monday Night Club members performing at one of their regular talent show evenings of the same name.
It was shown at the Shaw Theatre on London's Euston Road.
The audience also included Richard Bacon MP, and the actor Sarah Gordy, recently seen in Call the Midwife.
The production was filmed by theatre company Collar and Tie last spring.
The Monday Night Club was set-up by Laura Gill, a young woman from Worcester with learning disabilities.
Members meet each Monday from 7pm-10pm at Barbourne Ex-Services Club, Worcester.
