PEOPLE will be encouraged to turn off all non-essential lights while switching on for an eco-friendly festival.
Watt Fest is organised by the Worcester Roots Foundation and takes place from 6pm to 10pm on Saturday, March 29 at the Angel Centre, Angel Place, Worcester, to commemorate the WWF's Earth Hour which asks people to keep unnecessary lights off for one hour.
The foundation is supporting this occasion with an evening of joyous entertainment complete with performances from several Dancefest groups, ranging from street and breakdance to contemporary styles.
There will also be a Drumlove workshop and performances from singers and musicians Ollie Roberts, Jack Seckham, Luke Menel, Kieran Dobson and Charlie Boswell.
The celebration of local talent, community spirit and the planet is free to enter.
