CYCLISTS of all abilities are being encouraged to take on a new challenge for charity this summer.
The new Worcester Classic Bike Ride will be held in association with David Lloyd Leisure on Sunday, July 13, with 55, 85 and 100-mile routes winding their way around the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.
Each route will start and finish at Worcester's branch of David Lloyd Leisure in Warriors Way by the Sixways Stadium home of Worcester Warriors.
The rides are designed for all cycling enthusiasts, sportsmen and women who want to take on a tough challenge while raising some much appreciated funds for Acorns Children's Hospice.
All riders will receive medals for all three distances and each pit stop will be hosted by local charity volunteers who will be ready and waiting to recharge the cyclist's batteries with plenty of food, drinks and friendly hospitality.
