ABOUT 1,500 people in Malvern lost power to their homes and businesses this morning (Wednesday, March 19) due to a cable fault.
From 8.55am electricity was cut off throughout the town which Western Power Distribution have said was caused by an underground cable fault.
The first 900 customers were reconnected within 12 minutes of the failure and the rest were back up and running by 9.52am.
