COLWALL Orchard Group will be tempting people to attend its AGM next week by offering a scrumptious selection of food and drink.
The goodies will be on offer at the Ale House next to the village church on Wednesday, March 26, from 7pm.
Membership secretary Jan Porter said: “We wanted to break from the normal AGM mould, so we will be heating up sausage and veggie rolls, offering brownies and flapjacks and dipping into our stocks of beer, cider, perry and apple juice to create a more convivial atmosphere”.
Following the food and drink, Tim Dixon will be talking about the The Wildlife and History of Colwall Orchards.
He said: "Colwall orchards are outstanding habitats for wildlife because of their long history and landscape setting. We have rare birds and bats, spectacular big shiny metallic green beetles and many other creatures of interest."
Organiser will be asking for a small donation for food and drink, and the group's apple juice and preserves will be on sale, with funds going to orchard conservation. See colwallorchardgroup for more details.
