A MAN suffered what appears to be an unprovoked assault after he was hit in the face by a man walking in the opposite direction to him.
The 32 year-old victim was walking in the direction of Broadway Road, Evesham, when a man, the victim says he says he does not know, struck him and continued to walk towards Bridge Street without saying anything.
Police have launched an investigation and describe the man as being white, aged between 35 and 45, around 5"9 tall and as being of large build.
He is also described as having a shaved head, numerous tattoos on both arms and was wearing a black t-shirt with a large white motif on it.
The victim received bruising to the jaw after the incident which happened in Port Street, on Thursday, March 13, between 8.30pm and 8.50pm.
