A FREE app has launched so fans of Youthcomm Radio, covering Worcester city centre, can listen from anywhere in the world.
Listeners with a smartphone, android or iPhone, tablet or access to iTunes, can download the app and tune in to live on-air programming.
Muff Murfin, the station's director, said listening via the app doesn't charge the user.
"Youthcomm Radio has seen fantastic growth over the past year, in listenership figures and general listener interaction," he said.
"So it was the next logical step to introduce an app for our loyal listeners, so that it’s easier than ever for them to tune in”.
The launch of this free new app comes after the local radio station tripled its social media coverage in just over a year.
Director of Ventutec Limited, creators of the app, Kevin Savage added: “It’s been a great opportunity to work with Youthcomm Radio to help build their online audience.”
The app can also be downloaded onto a device by scanning the select QR code (pictured). The station will be putting up posters with the QR code attached in various places throughout Worcester city in the near future.
