QUEENS Of The Stone Age and Paramore will co-headline at the Reading and Leeds Festivals, it has been confirmed.

The pair join already-announced bill-toppers Blink 182 and Acrtic Monkeys for the events, which run across two sites throughout the August Bank Holiday weekend.

The billing is the first time the events have lined up co-headliners, and will see the acts alternate the final performances, with one in Leeds and one in Reading.

Also revealed on the main stage bill for the Friday at Reading, Saturday at Leeds, are Vampire Weekend, Enter Shikari, Jimmy Eat World, Deaf Havana and Hacktivist.

Meanwhile, on the NME/Radio 1 stage, Temples and Drenge will join the already-announced Courteeners, SBTRKT and Warpaint.

On the Saturday at Reading, Sunday at Leeds, the bill now includes Imagine Dragons, The Hives and Foster The People, as well as the likes of Worcester band Peace, appearing on the main stage for the first time.

Elsewhere, Bombay Bicycle Club, Chvrches, Don Broco, Cage The Elephant, NERO (Live) and Pendulum (DJ Set) have been added to the line-up.

And on Sunday at Reading, Friday at Leeds, Seattle hip-hop sensation Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have been announced for the main stage, along with A Day To Remember and Sleeping With Sirens.

Clean Bandit, Jungle, and Flume have also joined the bill on that day.

Weekend tickets for the festivals cost £202.50 plus an £8 booking fee, and day tickets are on sale for £92.50 plus a £7 fee.
