A TEENAGER had to be rescued by firefighters after falling while out on the Malvern Hills.
Hereford and Worcester Fire & Rescue Service were called at about 6.20pm yesterday (Saturday) by the ambulance service who needed help in transporting the 16-year-old down from the hill.
A crew from Malvern used an Argocat - a special off-road vehicle ideal for woodland areas and remote and steep upland grass land - to reach the teenager who was injured and transported her back down to the waiting paramedics.
The rescue operation took about an hour-and-a-half once the girl had been found and she was left in the care of West Midlands Ambulance Service.
