JOSEPH And His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will burst on to the Malvern stage next month.

The lively family show will - as always - be brimming with non-stop action and infectious energy. This long running production, from Bill Kenwright, has enjoyed outstanding reviews and standing ovations at every performance.

The show has gone into The Guinness Book Of Records as the longest-running touring stage musical of all time, having completed almost 20 years touring the UK.

Every time it returns to the Malvern Theatres it is a sell-out show.

Re-telling the Biblical story of the coat of many colours, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat marked the beginning of the legendary partnership between Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.

Joseph, the favoured son of Jacob, is betrayed by his jealous brothers and sold into slavery.

Undeterred by adversity Joseph becomes the governor of Egypt, second only to the Pharaoh - who resembles an Egyptian version of Elvis Presley.

Songs such as Close Every Door To Me, One More Angel and Any Dream Will Do plus a vibrant company of energetic actors, singers and dancers will always add up to a good evening out.

Joseph runs at the Malvern Theatres for one week only, starting from Monday, January 22.

Tickets, priced between £17 and £25, are available from the box office on 01684 892277 or from www.malvern-theatres.co.uk.
