A FRESH flood alert has been issued for Barbourne Brook in Worcester after rain overnight.
The brook rose quickly overnight as rain continued to fall across Worcestershire.
At 6.30am, the level at the Perdiswell gauge was 2.79 metres and rising slowly, the Environment Agency said, with peak levels expected this morning.
Meanwhile, roads across the county remain closed due to flooding.
In Upton Upon Severn, Hanley Road and New Street are closed, while the B4080 Pershore Road, in Eckington, is also closed due to flooding.
