TWO new flood warnings have been issued for the river Avon in Worcestershire.
The warnings relate to areas of the river running through Evesham and Bredon.
Issued by the Environment Agency, it said that at 4.15pm today, the level at the Evesham Gauge was 2.8 metres and rising and the level at the Bredon Gauge was 3.1 metres and rising slowly.
A peak level of between 2.85 and 2.95 metres for Evesham is expected to occur overnight.
Environment Agency officer Dave Throup tweeted that the peak of the Avon at Evesham was still 1 metre less than the flooding which occurred in November 2012.
